Explore Clinical Trials in Partnership with AI-M and IPP

The research trial joint program between AI-M and IPP offers patients the opportunity to participate in innovative, ethically approved research studies evaluating new and emerging treatments for psychiatric conditions, including major depressive disorder, treatment-resistant depression, depression following concussion, residual insomnia in mood disorders, anxiety-related conditions, and stress-related mental health challenges.

All trials are conducted within a multidisciplinary academic hospital setting with the clinical team at the Interventional Psychiatry Program at St. Michael’s Hospital and the research team at St Michael’s Hospital Clinical Research Centre. Trials are closely integrated with clinical care, safety monitoring, and outcomes evaluation. These studies help advance knowledge, refine existing treatments, and inform the development of future therapies.

Participation is always voluntary, and choosing to take part in research will not affect your access to standard clinical care.
